Enhanced ACT Course
This course consists of 8 sessions. We review English and math content students consistently see on the ACT and how these concepts are tested. We review specific concepts tested while presenting applicable strategies that will, together, raise students' scores. All materials are included.

"DIGITAL" SAT Course
Our 8-session course is designed for the "digital" SAT. Each session focuses on a specific question type presented on the SAT. We begin with a diagnostic test in session 1, then we dive into the English grammar in session 2. The math classes will review the basic concepts as well as teach students how to use the magic DESMOS calculator app to answer many of the math questions. The reading classes focus on specific strategies that students will use to answer common questions.

ACT/SAT Individual Program
Each year we will accept a select few individuals for private tutoring. The student works 1-on-1 with our top instructor reaching standardized test nirvana! We design the program around the student's goals and abilities and adjust as we go. Even a little test-taking psychology is included! We do work these students very hard, so plan on lots of fun! 8 hours of initial 1-on-1 tutoring for either the SAT or ACT, followed by supplemental review as the student's test date(s) approach. All materials are included. This program is only available at our Bloomfield office.

Eva began working in college admissions in 1991. She has counseled college applicants face to face in Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Massachusetts, and Washington DC. Based in Michigan, she meets in person with local clients.
Eva has worked in two college admission offices and three high schools. She is an active member of both the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling, which presented her with their 2002 "Up and Coming Member" award.
Eva received her CAS from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy, an MED and Secondary Teaching Certification from John Carroll University, and a BA in History from the College of Wooster.

Amy McVeigh is the founder of Smart College Selection, where her focus is helping students and their families confidently and strategically move through the college selection process. She works primarily with students in Michigan and Indiana.
Amy is an active member of the Higher Education Consultants Association, the Independent Educational Consultants Association, and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors and its Michigan and Indiana chapters. She also works with the University of California Berkeley, developing its college counseling curriculum for high school counselors and independent educational consultants.
Amy received her master’s degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business, a certificate in college counseling from the University of California Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s in communication from Boston University.
